Step 1: OINP International Student Stream

The OINP International Student Stream is designed for students who completed their studies in Ontario and have a valid job offer.

•    • Must have completed at least a two-year diploma or one-year post-graduate program at an Ontario Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
•    • Must have a valid job offer in a skilled occupation (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3)
•    • Language requirement: CLB 6 or higher
•    • Proof of settlement funds

Pro Tip: Even without a job offer, you may qualify for other streams like the Masters Graduate Stream.

Step 2: OINP Masters Graduate Stream

This is one of the most popular pathways for international students in Ontario because you do NOT need a job offer.

•    • Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from an eligible Ontario university
•    • Must have resided in Ontario for at least one year during studies.
•    • Language requirement: CLB 7 or higher
•    • Must have sufficient funds and intent to live in Ontario

Step 3: OINP Employer Job Offer Streams

If you already have a job offer in Ontario, you can apply through:

•    • Foreign Worker Stream
•    • In-Demand Skills Stream
•    • International Student Stream

Each stream requires employer support, and we ensure your paperwork meets Ontario’s standards.

Step 4: OINP Human Capital Category

This category is for candidates in the Express Entry system who have the skills and work experience Ontario needs. It includes:

•    • French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
•    • Skilled Trades Stream

A provincial nomination adds 600 points to your CRS score, making an Express Entry ITA almost guaranteed.
